Salsa Accreditation

As from June 2007, FTS Ltd is now registered with the IFST as an approved mentor and auditor and has successfully assisted companies in achieving SALSA accreditation within the North East. Lisa Kennedy is now an approved auditor and mentor for the SALSA scheme.

ISO22000 Accreditation

As from Sept 2007, Lisa Kennedy became an accredited lead auditor for the ISO22000 standard and so can offer assistance and support in gaining this accreditation.

The standard gives those who meet the stringent qualifying criteria a commercial advantage. It verifies the standards being used within the company, reduces the need for excessive audits by customers and is recognised as the global food standard.

We can provide you with assistance in gaining this valued accreditation by taking you through the steps, ensuring your business meet the stringent criteria and where necessary help you make changes and implement procedures that will gain accreditation to the new version 5, called the Global Standard For Food Safety.

Internal Auditing Service

Food Tech Solutions Ltd proprietor Lisa Kennedy is a qualified BRC SALSA and ISO022000 Lead Auditor and undertakes Third Party BRC audits in the food industry worldwide on behalf of SALSA & National Britannia. She also specialises in providing advice to companies on the requirements needed to gain BRC, EFSIS or SALSA accreditation which offers great commercial advantages over competitors.

Lisa Kennedy is registered as an approved mentor and auditor with the institute of food science and technology.

As part of the auditing service, independant internal audits can be completed within your business or of your suppliers, providing a professional view of operations.

Food Tech Solutions Ltd can also offer a bespoke Internal Auditor training course designed specially for your buisness, completed on your site at your chosen times.

Technical Database Design & Implementation

Food Tech Solutions can now offer a service that will design a dedicated technical database system that controls approved suppliers, recipe control including traceability, finished product specifications and legally compliant finished product labels. All dedicated to your business without any new computer software requirements, and with full implementation, staff training & maintenance package if required.
