Salsa Accreditation
As from June 2007, FTS Ltd is now registered with the IFST as an approved mentor and auditor and has successfully assisted companies in achieving SALSA accreditation within the North East.

ISO22000 Accredittation
As from Sept 2007, Lisa Kennedy became an accredited lead auditor for the ISO22000 standard and so can offer assistance and support in gaining this accreditation.

BRC (British Retail Consortium) or EFSIS Accreditation
This standard is widely recognized as the ‘ultimate stamp of approval’ for food or drink manufacturers within the UK. It demands high levels of food hygiene, quality and safety in all aspects of the business, from supplier approval to new product design and distribution.

The standard gives those who meet the stringent qualifying criteria a commercial advantage. It verifies the standards being used within the company, reduces the need for excessive audits by customers and is recognised as the global food standard.

We can provide you with assistance in gaining this valued accreditation by taking you through the steps, ensuring your business meet the stringent criteria and where necessary help you make changes and implement procedures that will gain accreditation.

The BRC standard is currently being reviewed and version 5, called the Global Standard For Food Safet y will be enforced as from July 08.
